Description

This qualification provides a basic nationally recognised qualification for those wishing to start working on the construction industry.

This qualification will enable you to learn the basic health and safety elements related to the construction environment and it is one of the two requirements for getting a CSCS card.

After completing this qualification, you will be able to apply for a Labourer (green) CSCS card if you pass the HS&E examination.

Who is is qualification designed for?

The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification is appropriate for individuals wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Green Card and to access construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.

The awarding body for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
