Before you enrol
Do I have to attend a college or training centre?
No. There are no classroom sessions — the whole qualification is assessed on site in your normal working environment. Evidence comes from workplace observations, professional discussions, photos, plant inspection records and witness testimonies.
Do I need any qualifications to start?

Does this get me the Blue CSCS Card?
This NVQ is the qualification that supports your application for the Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card. Once your NVQ is awarded, you pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test and apply to CSCS — we’ll point you through both steps.
