About Course

This online course supports the ProQual Level 3 Award in Inspection & Testing of Fire Resisting Door Installations. It follows the same route as the three classroom days: first the law and the science of fire, then the fire-rated doorset and how to maintain it, and finally the inspection routine, the pass and fail criteria and how to report to the client.

Each module ends with a short quiz. When you are ready, sit the 52-question mock written paper. The pass mark is 75%, the same as the real written assessment.

Please note: the mock paper is for practice. The qualification is achieved through the written assessment and the Level 3 inspection assessment, assessed and internally verified by DB College, with external quality assurance by ProQual.
