Before you enrol
Do I have to attend a college or training centre?
No. The qualification is completed through the On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) route. Your assessor gathers evidence from your real workplace activities — observations, a portfolio of evidence, professional discussions, photos and videos of completed work, and job documentation.
Do I need any qualifications to start?

This NVQ supports progression towards the Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card, demonstrating competence across multiple trades. Once your NVQ Diploma is awarded, you pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test and apply to CSCS — we’ll point you through both steps.
