Do I need to be working to take this qualification?
No. This is a knowledge qualification rather than a competence-based NVQ, so you are assessed on what you learn instead of on evidence from a job. You do not need an employer, a team, a workplace or anyone to sign your work off.
Where can I study from?
Anywhere. Everything is delivered and submitted online, so we take learners from every part of the UK and from people working away or overseas. There is nothing to attend and nowhere to travel to.
Do I get learning materials?
Yes, and they are free. We provide materials covering every unit as part of the course fee. They are optional — some learners work straight through them, others use their own reading and experience instead. Either way there is nothing extra to buy.
How am I assessed?
You research each topic and answer the assessment questions in your own words, then submit your written answers online. Your assessor marks them and gives feedback within 48 hours, so you always know where you stand before moving on.
Are there any exams or classes?
None. There is no written examination, no timed test and no classroom attendance. The whole diploma is completed remotely in your own time.
How long does it take?
Most learners finish in two to three months alongside full-time work. Nothing is timetabled, so you can go faster or slower to suit what else you have on.
Do I need existing qualifications to start?
No. There are no formal academic entry requirements. If you are unsure whether Level 3 is the right level for you, call us and we will talk it through honestly before you enrol.
What can I progress to afterwards?
