How is the course delivered — do I have to stop working?
No. The SMSTS element is delivered through structured training sessions, while the NVQ Level 6 is completed through workplace assessment and portfolio evidence gathered from your normal management work — so you keep working and earning throughout.
Do I need any qualifications to start?
There are no formal academic entry requirements. You should be aged 18 or over, working in a site management or supervisory position, have construction industry experience, a basic understanding of English and a workplace where evidence can be collected.
How long does it take?
