Before you enrol
Do I have to attend a college or training centre?
No. The whole qualification is assessed at your workplace. Your assessor gathers evidence from the groundworks you already do — observations, photos, site documentation, health and safety records, witness testimonies and professional discussions. No classroom sessions, no traditional written exams.
Do I need any qualifications to start?

Does this get me the Blue CSCS Card?
This Level 2 NVQ is the qualification that supports the Blue Skilled Worker Card application. Once your NVQ is awarded, you pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test and apply to CSCS — we’ll point you through both steps.
