Why this course
Built for installers who can’t afford weeks off site
Zero days off the tools
Everything is assessed remotely from your normal work. No college, no evening classes, no written exams — your site is the classroom.
Qualify while you work
Your day rate doesn’t stop. Evidence comes from the ductwork you’re already installing — photos, site records and video calls do most of it.
Done in 2–5 months
Most installers finish within a few months, at a pace that fits around the job. The quicker you submit evidence, the quicker you qualify.
A named assessor, day one
You get a dedicated assessor who plans your portfolio, chases the paperwork and keeps you and your employer updated throughout.
Accredited qualification
A nationally recognised Level 2 NVQ in Ductwork Installation — the qualification the Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card is built on.
Never expires
The NVQ is a lifetime qualification. Once it’s yours, it’s yours — no renewals, no retakes, on every site you ever work.

Common questions
Before you enrol
Do I have to attend a college or training centre?
No. The whole qualification is assessed remotely at your workplace. Your assessor gathers evidence from the work you already do through observations, photos, site records and professional discussions.
Do I need any qualifications to start?
No formal entry requirements. You should be working in a ductwork, ventilation or HVAC role with access to a site where evidence can be collected — the NVQ assesses the competence you already have.
How long does it take?
Most installers complete in 2–5 months. The pace is set by how quickly evidence is gathered from your jobs, so motivated candidates on busy sites often finish sooner.
Does this get me the Blue CSCS Card?
The Level 2 NVQ is the qualification the Blue Skilled Worker Card requires. Once your NVQ is awarded, you pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment test and apply to CSCS — we’ll point you through both steps.
How does the 50/50 payment work?
You pay £625 when you enrol and the remaining £625 only when you complete the qualification. There’s no interest and no credit check — just choose the 50/50 option at checkout.
Next step
Your experience already did the hard part.
