Do I need any qualifications or experience to start?

No formal entry requirements. You need to be aged 16 or over, have a basic understanding of English and be willing to join in the practical activities. It suits complete beginners as well as experienced workers refreshing their harness safety knowledge.

How long does the course take?

Just 2 hours. It’s a single classroom session combining theory, practical demonstrations and assessment — most people train and are back at work the same day.

What do I get at the end?

A Harness Safety Training certificate, issued on completion and valid for 12 months. It’s evidence for you and your employer that you understand harness inspection, safe use and working at height responsibilities.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?
