For many Site Manager roles, Level 6 is the relevant route

For Building Site Manager and Civil Engineering Site Manager occupations, CSCS lists the Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (Building and Civil Engineering). However, the Black Manager Card can cover several management and technical occupations, and the required qualification can be Level 4, 5, 6 or 7 depending on the role.

What else is required?

Applicants for the CSCS Manager Card must also pass the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment test. CSCS states the Manager Card is valid for five years.
